Directions
Depending on the nature of the flock, disperse one PeckAway stone per 400 to 800 birds. The stones can be placed throughout the house on the floor or hung from the ceiling. Buckets can be used if preferred and are highly recommended for pasture-raised birds.
How to Prep a Bucket to Size:
Stone size: 9″ width x 3.5” height, Weight: 12 pounds
Step 1: Use a new or clean bucket with a lid that allows room for the stone.
Step 2: Cut two rectangular shapes approximately 2” from the bottom of the bucket. Dimensions: 10″ wide x 4″ high (this allows introduction of a new stone without removing the lid)
